My due date (Sunday April 11th) came and went somewhat uneventfully. We had our 40 week doctor appointment this morning and while there is a little progress, there aren't any immediate signs that this baby is ready to be born yet. My theory is that I've been spoiling him/her with pretty much all food indulgences, so he/she doesn't see any reason to fly the coop only to be limited to formula for the next 6 months. Perhaps I'll eat some brussel sprouts today to test my theory, because this turkey is officially cooked and needs to come out!
What a little bugger! I can't believe after all you have been through that this little chick is not ready to hatch! Bring on the broccoli, lima beans, and brussel sprouts. No french toast for you!
