happy 2nd birthday!

Our little Maxwell turned 2 today!  Anyone who has spent time with him recently knows that he has developed quite the personality.  He could be described as equal parts: compassionate, loving, sweet boy/brother AND hot tempered irishman!  He is also quite the food enthusiast with a love of pushing trucks and shoveling dirt.  Max supplies us with endless laughter on a daily basis and is a true joy.  We love you buddy!

This past weekend Anders was baptized at the same church Mommy and Daddy were married in, and where Whitney and Max were also baptized.  It's a special place for our family and we appreciate everyone being there for the occasion.

This weekend the entire Kelly / Carlson family gathered in Green Lake, WI to celebrate Anders' baptism and Whitney and Max's birthdays.

First we had a pizza party in honor of Whitney's 3rd birthday and Max's 2nd birthday.

and of course there was cake...

last but not least, the kids opened up some presents before swimming.
