With Max's second birthday fast approaching, we decided to have a joint party for Whitney and Max.  Actually they'll be having 2 joint parties, but this first one was with their friends.

For Whitney's actual birthday we celebrated with dinner at the Rainforest Cafe.  

The party continued back home with presents.

Now comes the dilemma... what's a birthday girl to do when she receives not one but TWO scooters?  Does she keep the practical one (that could be passed down to her brothers) from Mommy and Daddy?  OR does she keep the pink princess scooter complete with music & lights from her Fairy Godmother?  As you might imagine, Mommy and Daddy's scooter didn't stand a chance!

Dearest Whitney,

Three short years ago our lives changed in a way we never could have imagined.  You have shown us the true boundless nature of love and filled our hearts with an endless pride and joy.  You are a bright light in our lives, a best friend to Max, and a compassionate and nurturing big sister to Anders.  We love you more than words can express.

Easter 2013

In all the hussle and bussle of daily life, I forgot to post the actual Easter photos.  The kids had lots of fun with cousins Drew & Dylan going on an Easter egg hunt, visiting the Easter Bunny, coloring Easter eggs, and best of all spending quality time together.

4 months old!

Our sweet little Anders is already 4 months old.  His easy smile and infectious giggles will light up any room.  If only he could improve upon his less than stellar night-time sleep habits!  But with a smile like this it's hard to stay mad for too long...
