Over the weekend we celebrated Papa Dave's birthday. Lots of cousins were on hand for the festivities and the unseasonably warm weather made for an extra special day.

As if the day wasn't fun enough already, the Kellys returned to Chicago with us for a big slumber party followed by a fun day in the city!

... to turn 2 years old! In one short month, Whitney will be two.

grandma and grandpa's visit

Whitney and Max enjoyed a special visit from Grandma and Grandpa this weekend. Lots of fun was had going on walks, playing at the park, building with legos and blocks, reading books, working on some projects for the house, having a belated birthday party for Grandma, and playing with toys. We can't wait to see you again soon!

10 months old!

Our baby boy with the sparkly eyes, big smile and infectious laughter turns 10 months old this week. Max's newfound mobility and curiousity are proving to be a combination that keeps Mommy and Daddy on their toes at all times. Max continues to be a very sweet boy, and thankfully is making some improvement in the sleep department. He still has just the bottom 2 teeth and isn't venturing much beyond pureed fruits and vegetables at this point.

We spent President's weekend in Eagle River and took advantage of the snow conditions. Mommy uncharacteristically left the camera behind most of the time but still managed a couple indoor shots at the grocery store and the children's museum grocery store.
