halloween 2012

This weekend was jam-packed with seasonal fun.  On Saturday the kids showed off their best Winnie the Pooh and Tigger impressions at some neighborhood store front trick-or-treating. 

 

Sunday brought more halloween festivities.  The kids were joined by some friends (Olivia and Emmett are missing from picture) and we all attended our neighborhood parade, trick-or-treated, and went back to our house for continued merriment.

Mommy and Daddy even got into the spirit of things this year and attended a party of their own.

The kids have been enjoying all things autumnal this past week visiting a pumpkin patch, carving pumpkins, and playing in the leaves.

2.5 and 1.5 years old!

summer came and summer went...

Summer appears to have come and gone and Mommy has done a horrible job of blogging / taking pictures.  I'll blame it on caring for an active 1 and 2 year old, settling into our new house, and being (currently) 8 months pregnant.  Nevertheless I hope to get back on my game.

Since turning 2 in April, Whitney has given up her nook, moved into a big girl bed, dabbled with using the potty, and her vocabulary and sentences have grown exponentially.  Her favorite past-times are singing the abc's, building with legos or any sort of block, playing in the clubhouse kitchen, coloring, and playing outside.  Max has expanded his food interests (but still with an extraordinary enthusiasm for beans and pesto pasta), finally sleeps like a champ, and has pretty much been running since the day he turned one.  His current interests include music, pushing trucks, mowing the lawn, making noise, reading books, and throwing things.
