While Daddy was in Alaska with some friends, Mommy and Whitney decided to spend some time at Grandma and Grandpa Carlson's house in Hudson. We had all sorts of fun and even got to see Cousin Drew.

Whitney has been taking full advantage of the abundant snow this winter. Recently she checked out the local sledding hill with buddy Mona.

weekends in waukesha

I appear to have fallen behind in blogging, as Whitney keeps me very busy these days. Whitney has been doing all sorts of fun stuff in Waukesha the past 2 weekends. Over the last weekend in January, Nana and Papa graciously offered to watch Whitney while Mommy and Daddy got some sun and relaxation in Mexico. I'd like to say she missed us, but all indications are in that Whitney had a fabulous 5 days and hardly realized we were gone.

The following weekend the 3 of us went back up to WI to celebrate some of Whitney's cousins' birthdays. Ryan came up with the great idea for everyone to go ice skating. Whitney skated with Daddy for well over an hour and loved it. She would sing and kick her feet while Daddy skated her around, and thankfully avoided falling.
