For the past three weeks, Mommy and the kids enjoyed the good life at a beach house in Anna Maria Island, Florida. Daddy commuted back and forth over long weekends, while Grandma and Grandpa joined in on the fun for the first 2 weeks, and Uncle Brian / Aunt Pam / Drew / Dylan stayed the 3rd week. Contrary to what people might be thinking Mommy DOES NOT plan on homeschooling the kids... so we thought this would be a good opportunity to take an extended vacation before Whitney starts kindergarten next fall.
The weather was mainly sunny and in the 60s-70s; not hot but great for afternoon swims in the pool.
The kids took full advantage of the ocean front accommodations.
Highlights at the Tampa Zoo included feeding giraffes and Max and Whitney's first roller coaster ride (with Grandma).

Kite flying on the beach was a big hit.
Last but not least, well deserved popsicle treats... it's hard being on vacation!
